It is used in combination with other drugs for the symptomatic treatment of stable angina pectoris, chest pain caused by decreased oxygen supply due to reduced blood flow to the heart. This medicine is used when patients do not respond adequately to other agents or are intolerant to first line anti-anginal agents.

Headache, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fatigue.

Parkinson's disease, parkinsonian symptoms, tremors, restless leg syndrome and other movement related disorders. Severe renal impairment

Take precautions with Moderate renal impairment

May cause dizziness and drowsiness, if affected, do not drive or operate machinery.

Discontinue medicine if there is no treatment response after a 3 month treatment benefit assessment

Exercise caution in patients with moderate kidney problems and those who are above 75 years

MAOIs such as rasagiline, selegiline, isocarboxazid, phenelzine and tranylcypromine can interact with this drug.
