Corace Tablets 5mg 2X10's

This medication is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

It can cause Dizziness, lightheadedness, tiredness, or headache may occur as your body adjusts to the medication. Dry cough may also occur.

It is contraindicated in ACE-inhibitor induced angioedema, Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE inhibitors) hypersensitivity, Black patients, hereditary angioedema, history of angioedema

Before taking this drug, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to other ACE inhibitors (such as benazepril); or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.

To reduce the risk of dizziness and lightheadedness, get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.

It may rarely cause serious (possibly fatal) liver problems. Get medical help right away if you have any symptoms of liver damage, such as: nausea/vomiting that doesn't stop, loss of appetite, stomach/abdominal pain, yellowing eyes/skin, dark urine.

A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

This drug may pose risks to your pregnancy, therefore please do not take this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

It can interact with Aspirin, diuretics, Potassium supplements
