Used to prevent or treat low levels of vitamin B6 in people who do not get enough of the vitamin from their diets

Pyridoxine usually has no side effects when used in recommended doses .Pyridoxine can cause side effects when taken in large doses for a long time. Tell your doctor right away if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: headache, nausea, drowsiness, numbness/tingling of arms/legs

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

To make sure you can safely receive injectable pyridoxine, tell your doctor if you have heart disease or kidney disease.

Do not give this medicine to a child without medical advice

Use the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not Use extra medicine to make up the missed dose

Pyridoxine taken by mouth (oral) is available without a prescription. Injectable pyridoxine must be given by a healthcare professional.

There appears to be no risk when taking this drug during pregnancy.
