Paromax Cr 25mg Tab

It is used to treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD), and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD)

It can cause nausea, insomnia, dry mouth, ejaculation disorder, headache, dizziness, constipation, tremor etc

Hypersensitivity to the drug, Concomitant pimozide

Use caution in patients with bipolar disorder, seizure disorder, history of suicidal thought/behavior

Risk of cardiovascular defects in infants whose mothers took drug during early pregnancy

Use lower starting dose in renal impairment (CrCl <30 mL/min) or severe hepatic impairment

Bone fractures reported to be associated with antidepresant use

Some products that may interact with this drug include Amidarone, buspirone, carvedilol, dextromethorphan, amitryptilline.
